Question

The connection with my bank dropped. When I reconnected it pulled all of my transactions for all of 2021 into uncategorized. Can I do a restore in some way?

Let's resolve your uncategorized transactions right away, Steve. Help has arrived. 

 

I'll guide you on what to do with your uncategorized transactions in QuickBooks Online. This way, you can re-classify them immediately. 

 

You can exclude any transactions that you do not want to display in the register or other transactions that are already classified. To do this, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Banking tab on the left side and choose For review
  2. Check all the transactions you want to ban.
  3. Click Exclude

Among the other transactions you want to put on your chart of accounts, I would recommend categorizing them. As such, these data will be included at the time of reconciliation
