Question

There is a service date column in my estimates that seemed to pop up out of nowhere. I would like to get rid of it since I don't use that feature but can't find where.

I've tried in the estimate template section but can't find anything there. The settings cog only gives me a toggle box for tags

Good day, @mbmower-gmail-co! I'll make sure you'll be able to turn off the service date column when creating estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Follow these steps to proceed:

  1. Go to the Gear icon⚙, then select Accounts and settings.
  2. Select the Sales tab.
  3. In the Sales from content section, select Edit ✎.
  4. Disable the Service date toggle button.
  5. Select Save and Done.

See the screenshot below for visual reference:

If everything's good for you, you can now proceed with creating and sending estimates in QBO.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community if you have other concerns besides turning off the service date feature in QBO. We’ll be here to help you out. Have a wonderful day!
