Let's perform some steps to fix your recurring issue, denicew49.

We didn't receive reports about issues with the first line of the recurring transaction being deleted.

There are times that your browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that cause some unusual responses. To isolate this, try logging into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once signed in, you can double-check if the first line of the recurring transaction is still being deleted. If it's not, you can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to speed up the loading process. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers. I have added these help articles in case you have any questions about QuickBooks Online.
