Hi @ocean_view4u1970. I can help you with linking your bank to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) application.

The app's stored cache may be loaded, which causes unusual behavior in QBSE. With this, you're unable to link the app with your bank.

With this situation, let's reset your application's data to fix this issue. You can do this by following these steps depending on the mobile device you're using:

For Android:

  1. Go to your phone Settings.
  2. Tap Apps and Notifications.
  3. Look for the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  4. Select Reset App Data.

For iOS:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Click OK.

Once done, let's link your bank with QBSE one more time. Here's how:

  1. Tap  Accounts on the Dashboard.
  2. Select the + icon on the Bank account screen.
  3. In the search box, enter the name of the bank and account type.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account.

When the app loads bank feeds, you can now continue to categorize transactions in QuickBooks.

You can also read additional details about managing your online banking entries using the Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Should you have other concerns with QuickBooks banking, feel free to place your updates here. Anytime I can assist you. I always want you a productive day from here.

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online/QBSE, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank.
