Transactions from a linked bank account

My bank lists all checks as “CK Store”.  When these items appear in QuickBooks, they all show the same Category and Payee.  If I change one, they all change.  There is no rule in effect to account for this.  I have unlinked and re-linked the bank account but it didn’t change anything.  Would appreciate any help.

May I know the name of your bank account? Doing so helps us investigate this.

 

QuickBooks Online is dependent on what your bank shares. This issue could be browser-related.

 

I'd recommend accessing your QuickBooks account via a private window to check if there's an issue with the browser.  

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N 
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P 

 

Once signed in, categorize the bank transactions again. If it works, clear the browser's cache to improve the program's performance.

 

Let's use other support browsers if the issue persists.
