I've got easy steps on how to add up to a dollar to verify your bank account, mariaslist22-gma.

I'm more than happy to help you figure out to verify your test deposit amount in QBO. So that you can pay your employee using the Direct Deposit feature.

You can verify the amount either by reviewing your bank statement online or going to the Employees page. Please note that you only get one attempt to verify your test transaction.

Here's how:

  1.  Go to the Payroll menu, then choose Employees.
  2. Select Finish payroll tasks on the upper right side.
  3. Click Verify the test deposit now and enter the less than $1.00 in both boxes. Type the pennies only without a dollar sign or decimal point.
  4. Tap OK

Or

  1.  Go to Payroll, then Overview.
  2. From your To Do List, select Let's Go on Check your bank account item.
  3. Choose Verify Amount.
  4. Enter and confirm the transaction amount (no decimal point).
  5. Click Verify.

If the there's no New payroll tasks option, here's another way to verify test transaction:

  1. Go to Gear icon, then Payroll settings.
  2. In Bank accounts, tap Edit.
  3. Select Verify Amount, then enter and confirm the amount.

For more details, please refer to this article: Verify test transaction

Additionally, I've also added these articles about handling issues in direct deposit, employee transactions, and other topics.

If you have questions or concerns about verifying your test deposit in QuickBooks, feel free to add them below. I'll be glad to help you. Take care!
