Trying to link bank acct. Went to Bank Transa.. then link acct, selected bank, logged into bank acct, but then nothing. QB window say it'll return me, but doesn't. ??

Before anything else, can you tell us more about what bank you're trying to connect to inside your company file and if you received any prompt when linking your financial institution?

We also recommend accessing your company file in an incognito or private browser to check if this has something to do with the browser that you're using. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

• Safari 11 or newer: ⌘+Shift+N
• Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
• Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
• Safari: Command+Shift+N

Once you're in, connect the bank account and check if it'll allow you to link it successfully inside QBO. If the issue persists, you can import your bank transactions manually inside the program. Refer to this article for more details: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
