At the moment, you can manually upload your bank transactions to your QuickBooks account. To do this, you can visit your bank's website and follow their instructions on downloading them to QBO. Currently, we support the following file formats for uploading:
- Comma-separated values (CSV)
- QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Quicken (QFX)
Here's how to upload the file:
- Navigate the Banking menu and select Banking.
- Click the dropdown arrow beside the Link account. Then, select Upload from file
- Choose Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
- In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account and click Continue.
- Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
- Pick the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
- Click Yes, then Done.
After successfully uploading the transactions, you can match and categorize them accordingly.
Once you have finished categorizing, you can proceed with the reconciliation process to guarantee accuracy and detect any discrepancies or errors in the financial records.
