Undo an reconciliation

Yes, undoing a reconciliation in QuickBooks Desktop is easy peasy. I'd be happy to guide you through the process.

Before we proceed, I recommend creating a backup of the company file you're working with. Once done, let's now undo your reconciliation. Here's how:

1. Go to the Banking menu, then select Reconcile.
2. From the Begin Reconciliation window, select the appropriate bank account and click Undo Last Reconciliation.
3. Click Continue if the backup company file window popped up.
4. Select OK when the message Undo Previous Reconciliation has completed displays.
