Unretire the old Connect to Square app.

This is just a plea. Can you please unretire the old connect to square app. It was working fine and I would think that it would still work fine if you could unretire it. The new app has less functionality. For Example it connects to items using the name instead of the SKU. For this reason alone the app won't work. If you sell shirts with multiple sizes they all get imported with the same name. There is a SKU in Quickbooks, There is a SKU in Square. Let's go back to using that.

I'll ensure you're able to disconnect your Square app from QuickBooks Online. You can disconnect the Square app by going to your Apps page. To unlink it, use the steps below:

 

  1. From the left menu, select Apps then My Apps.
  2. Tap the Action ▼ drop-down menu, then Disconnect. Note: If you can't find Disconnect in the menu, select Settings, then locate the Disconnect button on the settings page.
  3. Complete the short questionnaire.
  4. Hit  Confirm Disconnect to remove the app from your company profile.

When you want to reconnect, use the information under Step 2 of this article: Sync Square with QuickBooks Online. It also contains steps on how to review your square transactions.
