Update American Express statements - all 2020 for Reconciliation

Let me share with you some information on how QuickBooks Online download your bank transactions, TheNonyanon.

QuickBooks Online connects to thousands of financial institutions so you can automatically download bank transactions. When you first connect your account QuickBooks downloads the last 90 days of transactions. You can manually update your bank transactions to refresh the connection. To do this, you can follow the steps below.

1. Go to the Banking menu at the left pane.
2. Click on the bank account that you're working with.
3. Select on Update. 
4. If asked, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials. Then press on Continue update.
   
   

If it's not updating, try disconnecting the account to double-check if this is a connection-related issue. Here's how:

1. Go to the Banking menu. Then select the Banking tab.
2. Select the tile for the bank account.
3. Select the pencil ✎ icon, then select Edit account info.
4. Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox. Note: If QuickBooks is downloading new transactions, you won't see this option. Wait a few minutes for the update to finish and try again.
5. Select Save and Close.

1. Select the Help menu.
2. In the Assistant window, enter Talk to a human.
3. Enter your brief concern in the field.
