Update bank account info in QB Online

My local bank has been acquired by another bank.  Our account number will not change, but the routing number and bank name has changed.  I am looking for information on how to update to the new bank's routing number to get this updated. I appreciate any help the community could provide!

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community. I want to make sure you're able to update you're information, ECCRKY.

 

If changes are made within the bank also need to be updated within QuickBooks. Here's how to change your banking details connected through the banking page: 

  1. From the left menu, select Banking.
  2. Select the bank or credit card account you need to update.
  3. Select Edit ✎.
  4. Select Edit sign-in info.
  5. If your web browser auto-fills the user ID and password fields, clear them. This ensures your browser doesn’t put in old info by mistake.
  6. Manually type in the user ID and password for your bank account. If your bank offers a Show option, select it so you can confirm you entered the password correctly.
  7. Select Update.
