venmo sync issue

Hey guys. So my venmo account has been syincing ok forthepast year. When ever it can't connect I jsut wait a day and it comes back around. 

 

This time it's not working and hasn't been for thepast two weeks. It can see (after many days of trying over and over) my bank balance, but it is not sowing any transactions for me to categorize. Is there something going on for otherp eople too or is it jsut me?

At the moment, there's no reported case about the Venmo sync issue. For now, we can perform a manual update to trigger the connection and get your transactions downloaded. I’m glad to show you the steps:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to your Banking menu, then select the Banking tab.
  3. Click the Update button to refresh.
  4. Enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in case you're asked. Then, select Continue update.

You can also access your account in an incognito window or supported browser to sort this out.


Once everything is good, you can start categorizing your Venmo transactions in the program. Then, use this reference to ensure your account are balanced and accurate: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
