We are missing bank transactions from a few days ago and the connection is no longer updating. Has anyone else experienced this? We opened a case which was closed out.

Hi there, @sryan-dhfi-net. I've got here some steps to help you find the missing transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

To begin, could you tell me the specific bank you're having problems with? That information is helpful so I can check if there are any ongoing issues with this.

 

In the meantime, you can perform a manual download to update the connection of your bank in QBO so it will get the latest transactions. Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Banking menu and go to the Banking tab.
  2. Next, select the bank account you're having trouble with.
  3. Then, click the Update button.

 

If this doesn't work, let's now go to your bank's website to determine if there are any maintenance issues on their end. Once signed in, check the following:

 

  • Review if there are any messages, notifications, or alerts that required immediate action.
  • See if there are any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QBO from downloading new transactions.
  • Check if there are any announcements about new security requirements.

 

Additionally, in case you made changes in your account's information such as updating your account number, username, or password, you'll need to do it in QBO as well.

If the issue persists, you can manually upload the missing bank transactions in QBO via CSV file.
