I have a customer who wishes to pay via bank transfers, but I am not sure of any restrictions to using this method.

Let me share with you some insights about the ACH limits on bank transfers, john.

Some QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payment's users have a limit of how much they can get paid online for both ACH Bank Transfer and Credit Card in a 30-day rolling period. When you reach the processing limit, customers won't be able to pay online until your limit opens up again as time goes by. However, you can still get paid with cash or checks.

Bank transfer (ACH) payments will be charged a 1% transaction fee (max$10) per transaction. There will be no charges for credit card or debit card payments. They will be still deposited at current rates. Then the payments that are processed before 3:00 PM PT (Pacific Time) will arrive at your bank the next business day. Then, later payments will arrive the following business day.

You can contact our QuickBooks Payments Support Team so they can check your account securely and provide more details about your processing limit. Before doing so, please review our support hours guide to ensure your concern gets addressed right away.
