Let's get rid of the error and start over with importing your trips to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), jwallace4.

You can import your mileage from MileIQ. However, make sure to follow the correct format so you won't get an error.

To get a sample format of the file, you can download miles from QBSE. Let me guide you through the steps:

  1. Go to the Miles menu.
  2. Select All from the Type ▼ dropdown.
  3. Select the Year ▼ dropdown and then Custom date.
  4. Choose the start and end dates, then select Apply.
  5. Click the Download or Email icon to get your mileage info.

Once done, here are the steps on how to import your trips:

  1. Click the Miles tab,
  2. Hit the Add trip button.
  3. Select Import MileIQ trips.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

In case you have Google Timeline, here's how to bring your mileage: Import Google Timeline trips into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
