There use to be a section on the bank deposit screen to reflect this charge but this screen no longer shows that.

Let's record your bank fees in QuickBooks in quick steps, @aboskw.

You're in the right place for a solution. I'll ensure that you can record all bank charges in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You'll need to add a bank charge line in the Deposit screen in QBO. This way, you can sort all fees into your account. To start, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Plus icon and choose Bank Deposit
  2. Choose the appropriate account and payment in the field.
  3. Under Add funds to this deposit, add the following:
  • Customer name
  • Bank Charges as Account. If you didn't see it, click Add New to create one.
  • Payment Method
  • Negative amount

      4. Click Save and Close

For more details, see this link: Record and make bank deposits in QuickBooks.

To review all your bank fees, I'd recommend going to the chart of accounts and opening the quick report from there. See the sample screenshot below:

I've also included some articles on how to reconcile bank and manage your chart of accounts in QuickBooks:
