I have another way how you can deposit if a check is over 10,000. Bhenderson.

If this is a mobile check deposit, the limit is subject to eligibility criteria and that includes if you're in good standing or not, and if the QuickBooks Checking account is active. You can sign in to your account on a mobile device to see your transaction limits. We'll also display your limit when you begin the check capture process.

If confirmed that your limit is up to that said amount, you can split the deposit into two transactions so you don't exceed the average limit. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online app from a mobile device.
  2. Select Cash Flow.
  3. From the QuickBooks Checking home page, select Send Money.
  4. Click Deposit checks. If you don't see the option it means you aren’t eligible yet.
  5. Enter the check amount. Make sure it isn’t more than the limit shown on the screen.

On the other hand, consider contacting QuickBooks Payments so you can request an increase in your transaction limit. They'll be able to check and determine if there's a need to increase your limit. They have the tools to pull up your account securely and look into this further.
