What if I do not have any co-owners in the regards to keeping my checking account open?

QB sent a message stating, "Your co-owner info is missing

We need to know more about your co-owner to keep your QuickBooks Checking account open. Your co-owner information is missing."
I have no co-owners.

This error can happen when co-ownership is indicated incorrectly during the setup. You can update your company type by following these steps to isolate the issue.

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks (QBO) account.
  2. Click on Advanced, then go to the Company type section.
  3. Select the correct type from the dropdown.
  4. Hit Save, then Done.

 

You can also update the information through your Merchant Services account.

 

Once resolved, you're now ready to use your QuickBooks Checking account.
