What to do about my TCF bank no longer being in existence and losing all my transaction history with them.

Glad to see you here in the Community, @thankdrew. I’ll be glad to assist you in sorting this issue.

 

You can fix this error by visiting the TCF Bank’s website and ask for a needed transaction in a CSV file format.

 

Then import your transactions by following these steps below:

 

 1. Go to the gear icon at the upper-right, and click Imports.

 2.  At the bottom, click the import transactions link.
 3. Click Browse and open the saved CSV file. 
 4. Make sure the column name matches what's in it. Click the drop-down if it's not the correct one.
 5. Click Continue to import.

 

After importing the transactions, you can then visit the Transactions page to categorize them. You can use this link for further details: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
