When bank deposits are imported, it records the deposit and cancels out the deposit. for example 10,000.00 and -10,0000.00. why? reconciliation is impossible.

It may be the amount is negative. It can be a reason why it offsets the deposit. Or, it can be there's another transaction that may cancel out the deposit. We'll go ahead and check the imported transactions.
 

If everything looks good, let's ensure to match the deposit to the correct existing transaction. Or, add it and use the correct account. It will help us import it without any issues.

However, if it didn't make any difference, you can exclude the deposit, and enter it manually instead. It may be the file from your bank is corrupted.
