I can share some information regarding your bank's connection to QuickBooks Online (QBO), Adam.

When setting up the connection between your bank and QBO, it is advisable to enter your bank's specific URL in the search field. This method allows for a more precise and accurate identification and connection of your account, especially when a bank has multiple branches.

When connecting your bank, we can use a private browser to verify and rule out any browsing history or cached files causing the problem. Here are the shortcut keys for accessing private browsers:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once you've opened your private browser and already copied your bank's URL, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then choose Bank Transactions.
  2. Click Link account.
  3. In the search field, enter your bank's URL.
  4. Select your bank.
  5. Enter your Sign info in the Login and Password fields, then select Continue
  6. Select the account and date from the dropdown, then click Next.
  7. Choose your account type on the Account type dropdown, then hit Next.

For more detailed information, kindly refer to this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

After connecting your bank to QBO, you can categorize your online bank transactions within the For Review tab.

Please let us know if you have additional questions regarding connecting your bank to QBO, Adam.

Hello,

Thank you for your response, however that is not the problem that I am having.  I can connect to my bank and select the accounts i want just fine.  It's QuickBooks that doesn't show them afterwards.

1. I can connect to Chase Bank, no problem.

2. I can select the accounts that I want to use from Chase Bank, no problem.

3. But, when it comes back to Quick Books, and shows me a list of accounts to select and use, it only shows one of my accounts, not the 2 that I have selected with Chase.

How do I fix this?

Thank You

  4. Enter Contact Support again, then Enter.
  5. Select QuickBooks Online Support, then click Contact Us at the bottom of the screen.
