Question

When I click on customer transaction list it always defaults to view Estimates Open. How do I change this to not automatically default to this view?

Thanks for reaching out to us. Let me assist you in running the customer transaction report.

 

It could be that the report you pulled up is a saved custom report that is why it defaults to open estimates. When you go to the Reports menu, make sure to pull up the Transaction List by Customer report from the Standard tab, and not on the Custom reports tab.

 

If the same thing happens, it could be due to the browser you're using. You'll want to use an incognito window and check the report from there. Incognito won't save your browsing history which can result in an error. These are some of the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P  

 

Also, you'll want to clear the cache and make sure you're using a supported and up-to-date browser. This can help in fixing any browser-related issues.
