When I enter a pledge manually, online payment options are ON, HOWEVER, when I import them the options are "OFF". How can I get it to default to ON for imported pledges?

In QuickBooks Online, enabling online payment for pledges can make your business process more efficient. However, having this feature automatically turn on as a default for imported pledges is currently unavailable. It only works for manually entered transactions after being enabled from the company file settings.

 

In the meantime, you need to update the payment method manually for imported pledges to turn on online payment. Here's how to edit it with the new invoicing experience:

 

  1. Head to Sales, then Pledges.
  2. Locate the transaction you want to modify, then click Edit.
  3. Select Manage and go to the Payment options section.
  4. Determine how you would like to receive payments by toggling on the available options.
  5. Choose Save and close.
