When I go to reconcile my entry instead of it going to the correct chart of account, it goes back to the dashboard and doesn't register

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, rsteinfeld. You've reached the right place to get some assistance! To ensure this isn't browser-related, I would like you to perform some troubleshooting procedures to resolve this.

First, log in to your QBO account using a private browser (Incognito). At times the browser is full of frequently accessed pages, which can cause some errors or unusual responses. Here's how:

  • On your keyboard, press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox or Internet Explorer).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, attempt to reconcile the entry again and see if it registered. If it does, this will indicate your cache needs to be cleared. Go back to your default browser and clear cache to remove temporary internet files on your computer.
