Question

When I import a customer from my iPhones contact list, the phone number isn’t importing but the address is. Why doesn’t the phone number or how do I get it to import?

To isolate this, I recommend clearing the app data. Doing so eliminates common issues causing the inability to import the phone number.

 

Clearing the app's data can be done on the app or your phone settings. Here's how:

 

For QuickBooks Online app:

 

  1. Select the menu at the top right 
  2. Choose Help & Feedback
  3. Select Refresh Data and Refresh.

 

In your Phone Settings:

 

  1. From your phone's settings, select Settings
  2. Click on General and choose iPhone Storage. 
  3. Select an app that's taking up a lot of space.
  4. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.
