When reconciling no invoices are showing when trying to match a transaction

I am having issue when reconciling transactions, when I select an entry under my Paypal bank then click Find Match no invoices are displayed. I have checked the date range etc that is not the issue. When I find an entry in my regular brick and mortar bank on the same day and click Find Match I see all the appropriate invoices. The invoices simply aren't displaying in the Paypal bank.

 

One other wrinkle for some entries in the Paypal bank I have a slider to select Suggested Matches. When I turn the slider on I have a few boxes for 1 Match, 2 Matches etc. I can select one of these categories and it will match the transaction, I cannot see which transaction so its not ideal since I'm reconciling blind. However even this poor workaround isn't an option for every entry in the bank.

Allow me to share details about the issues you're having when matching PayPal transactions, endless questions.

 

I checked our records and I can see that we have an open investigation about customers being unable to find a match in PayPal Bank Feeds. This means that our engineers are already looking at this one to determine what's causing the issue and resolve it at the same time.

 

I also suggest reaching out to our phone or chat support teams and provide INV-76964 as a reference. They will be needing your account and contact details to add you to the list of affected users. This is for us to send you an email notification as soon as the issue is resolved. 


Here's how to reach out to them: 

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner of your QBO account.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human" in the chatbox, then press Enter. Then, type in the same keyword and press Enter one more time.
  3. Select No.
  4. Choose between Chat with us or Have us call you.
