When trying to save an expense transaction I get the error "you must select an account for this transaction" or "you must select a different account for this transaction"

When you create an Expense, you'll have to select an account in the Category details section or an item in the Item details section. This should remove the error when you create the transaction.

 

If you encounter the same error after you have already selected an account or item, we can do browser troubleshooting steps to cover all related factors. Cache helps your browser or device's background processes run smoothly. However, it can also cause unexpected results when piled up. Here's how to get rid of any cache-related concerns:

  1. Open a private browser and log in to your account. It uses but doesn't store cache.
  2. If you can get rid of the error successfully,  we can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache.
  3. Other supported browsers are good alternatives, too. Each of them uses a different cache.
