WHERE DID MY ADD TRANSACTION BUTTON GO? WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED? I CAN'T DO PAPERWORK WITHOUT IT.

MY QUICKBOOKS HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR OVER A MONTH. WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO ADD TRANSACTIONS AGAIN? WHY ISN'T IT FIXED?

Thank you for brining your question forward here in the Community. I want to make sure you're able to add transactions to your QuickBooks Self Employed account once again.

 

Since you mentioned the Add Transaction button is missing, I recommend clearing the cache to rule out any web browser related issues. The cache serves to hold frequently used data to make loading pages quicker and easier. If it becomes too full there can be an adverse effect, potentially causing certain viewing and performance errors within QuickBooks. Clearing the cache will remove anything that's preventing the page to fully load. Here's how to get this done in Chrome for example:

 

1. Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner.
2. Select More Tools, then Clear Browsing Data.
3. Change the time range to All Time.
4. Only check Cached images and files.
5. Click Clear data.
