Question

Which accounts do you want to connect, not showing all accounts

My bank login has about 10 accounts associated with it.  When I go to connect the account within QB it only shows 7 different account and it doesn't show all 10, with the 1 of the other 3 is the one i need to connect.

Is there some sort of work around rather than downloading all transactions and loading to QB

Hi there, thblur7.

Before we proceed, May I know the name of the bank that you're trying to connect?

Aside from connecting your bank and credit card accounts, you can manually import your bank transactions into QuickBooks Online as an alternative.

Step 1: Take note of the date of your oldest existing transaction.

Step 2: Download the transactions from your bank.

Step 3: Check the file format and size. Your bank may offer a few file formats. If possible, pick the QuickBooks Online data (QBO) format. These are formatted specifically for QuickBooks Online. You can also upload transactions from a CSV or Quicken (QFX) file.

Step 4: Upload your transactions to QuickBooks.

You can check the detailed steps outlined in this article for accounts connected and not connected to online banking: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

I've included this link so you can learn how to categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online once you upload them.
