5 credit card store sales processed in October have not shown up in bank account. Where would they be?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, @asearles. I'm here to lend a hand with your credit card sales transactions which are not showing up in your bank account.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a read-only app. The data we receive in QuickBooks depends on the information sent to us by the financial institution. To investigate the problem, I recommend reviewing your bank statement and comparing it to the transactions downloaded on your QBO account.

Once verified, manually update your bank account connected to your QBO to download entries from your bank.

Here's how:

  1. In the left menu, click Banking or Transactions.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Choose the blue tile for the account.
  4. Click the Update button on the right-hand side of the screen.

To learn more about the process, see this article: What to do if you see a bank error or bank transactions won’t download.

Once bank transactions download, you can start categorizing or matching them to straighten out your books. After that, you have the option to do your regular bank reconciliation

You can always get back to me if you have any other concerns. I'm willing to help. Have a great day!
