Question

Why are hotels showing up as multiple transactions on the bank feed when only one transaction is true? It is not the bank nor the hotel that is doing this. Thank you!

I’ll walk you through deleting your duplicate transactions, @arieleelliott-08.

To make sure I can provide a timely solution, may I know what bank you’ve linked to your QuickBooks account? This way, I can verify if we have reported reports similar to your concern specific to your bank.

All downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online depends on the information provided by your bank. You’ll want to reach out to them to see if they’re performing some maintenance updates.

Let’s remove those duplicate transactions by excluding them.

Here's how:

  1. On the left pane, go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the appropriate blue tile of your bank account.
  3. In the For review tab, tick the duplicate transactions.
  4. Tap Exclude.

I'm adding this article for more guidance: Exclude a bank transaction you downloaded into QuickBooks Online.

Once you're all set, you can now continue categorizing and matching your bank transactions. For more information, feel free to check out this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please drop by again if you have any other concerns besides this banking question. I'll be right here to help you anytime.
