Why are my bank deposits taking 8 days to reach my account? I thought it would be 1-5 days, or I would have an option to do instant deposits.

I understand that getting paid quickly is a priority for you, accounting. And I want to ensure this gets resolved. 

When you start processing or receiving payments for the first time, it may take up to five (5) business days to deposit your funds due to the necessity of setting up your merchant account. Once this is completed, payments will be processed more quickly. However, there may be instances where deposits are delayed. Since it has been 8 days and the payment has not been received yet, I recommend contacting our Merchant Support team to verify the payment status, identify the reasons for the delay, and assist in resolving the issue.

You can get in touch with them by clicking the Chat with us link or finding the phone number in this article: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support. Then, navigate to the QuickBooks Payments section.

Furthermore, banks have their own regulations for payment processing, so the deposit schedule is determined by them.

To find out how long it takes to get the payments you process, you can go to the Deposit Speed section of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. I'll be happy to show you how:

1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
2. Choose Account and settings.
3. In the left menu, select the Payments tab.
4. Go to the Deposit Speed section and review it.

If you're not using QBO, you can check your deposit speed in the Merchant Service Center.
