Why are my funds still on hold after a month?

Why are my fund still being on hold for over a month after my client has paid their invoice? This is getting ridiculous. And why do they keep asking for a phone bill? I use my personal phone bill not a business one for my company. It is not relevant at all to my business and the invoice I sent to my client. The client has paid already but Quickbooks is holding my money hostage.

I need that money now.

I'd like to ensure you'll be able to identify why your funds are on hold, katiesmetherman.

A hold will happen for the following reasons:

  • When your payment exceeds the established maximum amount expected on your account.
  • When a transaction is processed after several authorization attempts and failures.
  • When certain transactions require verification of your business type to ensure it is compliant with the Intuit Acceptable Use Policy.
  • When our systems identify processing patterns that pose a risk to you, your customer or Intuit.

If the funds are still on hold for a while, I recommend connecting with our Support Team for further assistance. They have extra tools to pull up your account securely and check the possible reasons for the funds being withheld. For the support's contact information, you can open this link: QuickBooks Online with Payments & Merchant Service Center Support.
