I have 5 deposits that are on hold and no email as to why.  It has been 3-6 days they have been on hold.

This seems to be a common thing, with QB, lately.

If you use the Search bar at the top of the page, you can find MANY more people with the exact same complaint.  You'll probably be surprised to see just how many have never received their money.

Good luck.

I'll share some information why deposits are being on hold, mandygalligan509.

When something unexpected happens in your transaction(s), it may result in a payment hold. This doesn't imply that something is wrong. We simply need more time to review. Here are some of the most common reasons for holds:

  • When your payment processing exceeds the maximum dollar amount that can be expected on your account.
  • When a transaction is processed after several failed authorization attempts.
  • When certain transactions require your business type to be verified to ensure compliance with the Intuit Acceptable Use Policy.
  • When our systems detect processing patterns that are potentially dangerous to any of the parties involved: you, your customer, or Intuit.

We understand that delays are inconvenient, but we are required to protect the interests of all parties involved in the payment process. If there is a problem, we will notify you via email. You should receive the email within two business days. Since it's still on hold, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payment team. They can access your account and look into the status of your deposit.
