Why aren't my payments being instantly deposited after I set up instant deposit

When you set up instant deposits in QuickBooks, the funds from eligible customer payments should be available in your bank account in less than 30 minutes. However, there are a few reasons why your payments may not be instantly deposited:

• Eligibility: Not all payments are eligible for instant deposits. QuickBooks checks every transaction for eligibility, and only eligible payments are part of your available balance for instant deposits.
• Third-Party Delays: Deposit times may vary due to third-party delays, which can affect the speed of the instant deposit.

 If you have a QuickBooks Payments account, you can request an instant deposit to collect customer payments into your bank account in just a few minutes. I'm here to share with you the details.

You can follow these steps to request an instant deposit. You can do it before 3 PM PT to get your money on the same day. After 3 PM PT, the system processes any remaining payments the next day.

1. Go to Sales, then Deposits.
2. In the Instant Deposit section, select Get it now.
3. Review the total and associated fees.
4. Select Get it now.
