Why can I no longer select a bank account when manually uploading banking transactions?

I'm here to ensure you can manually upload your bank transactions successfully into QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Frustrated2686.

 

Occasionally, too much cache buildup in a browser can cause unexpected behavior with the product. This might be the reason why you're unable to select a bank account. To clean this up, open your QBO in a private or incognito window so the software runs smoothly and effectively. Depending on the browser you're using, you can use these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
     

You can also use other supported web engines to learn what computer and browser are needed for the best experience when using QuickBooks. 

 

Once you successfully upload the file, you can start categorizing your transactions into the proper accounts. After that, we recommend reconciling your accounts so they always match your bank and credit card statements.
