Why can't I find my bank account under Transactions? My credit card is there but not the bank account

I'll help check why the bank account isn't showing up on the Transactions page, karlin-outbackwo.

 

There's a possibility that the bank isn't connected to online banking. Let's go to the Chart of Accounts page and check if the bank account is there.

 

  1. Select Chart of Accounts and find the bank account.
  2. In the Action column, select the View register ▼ drop-down. 
  3. If you see Connect bank, then this isn't connected to online banking.
  4. Click Connect bank and follow the onscreen instructions to link it with QuickBooks.

 

Once done, go back to the Transactions page and check again if the bank account is there. QuickBooks downloads transactions and all you need to do is review, categorize, match, and add them to the bank register.
