It's important to me to ensure you'll be able to see your deposits, @triplejfarmsgrad. Let's work together to find them.
We can start our troubleshooting steps by checking your Undeposited Funds account. It functions as the holding account that keeps the amount until it will be deposited into your bank. Also, there are times that the payments you process goes to this account that's why you don't see them on your bank register. Here's how:
In your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, navigate to the Bookkeeping menu.
From there, select Chart of accounts.
Next, scroll down and look for the Undeposited Funds account on the list.
Then, click the Account history button.
Once opened, set the specific date and look for the deposits.
You also want to update your bank to refresh its connection and download the latest transactions. I'll guide you on how:
Go to the Bookkeeping menu.
Then, select Transactions or Banking.
Next, choose the Banking tab.
From there, click Update.
Additionally, manually importing bank deposits from previous months is a breeze in QBO. To do so, you'll have to use supported file types such as CSV or .qbo.
Furthermore, it's recommended to reconcile your account regularly to ensure the balance matches your real-life bank statement. Once done, the program will automatically generate a report for that session that you can use as a reference for future reconciliations.
I'm just around the corner to chime in if you have additional questions about the steps I've outlined above. Have a great day ahead.
