Hello, kal-parso.

I'll work with you and help you manage your transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If those old records are missing from your bank feeds, then it's likely that the connection only lets you download transactions within a certain period.

Most bank connections would only let you download transactions within a certain date. This is normal, and one way to bring those old transactions into QuickBooks is to manually upload them through an Excel file.

This article can guide you through the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

However when you say code, are you referring to your categorized transactions? If so, do you use the bank rules to categorize them automatically? In this case, you'll want to check your rule parameters to ensure all of your transactions are properly categorized.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking page.
  2. Click the Rules tab.
  3. On a specific rule, click the Edit link under ACTION.
  4. Review or change the rule settings.

If you need more help with your rules, you can check this article: Set up bank rules to categorize online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.

After taking care of your bank transactions, you can start your reconciliation if needed. We have an article to walk you through the process: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

I'll guide you through the processes and help you take care of your books again in QuickBooks Online. Just let me know the details below and I'll hop on to this thread as soon as possible.
