Question

Why do bank transactions that have been confirmed show up again the next day to be confirmed?

I have already accepted these transactions and the following day, they are waiting to be accepted again. 8 of my 13 transactions today had already been confirmed last week.

I want to share some insights as to why accepted transactions still show up from the banking page, @lfrederich.

The transactions that are downloaded into QuickBooks Online are based on the data that your bank shares with us. If the transactions are accepted successfully, they will show up in the Categorized tab. Please refer to the photo below for reference:

It's possible that the transactions are duplicated. In this case, I suggest Excluding the duplicate and reaching out to your bank about it. Here's how you can exclude transactions:

  1. From the left pane, click on Banking.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select the account where the transactions are coming from.
  4. Click on the Excluded tab.
  5. Select the transactions that are duplicated.
  6. Click on Undo.
  7. Once done, click on Continue.

I'll also attach this guide on how you can handle bank transactions in QuickBooks: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

You already know where to find me in case you need more help about this matter. Have a good one and keep safe!
