Let's check why you're asked to verify the bank information, lwolf3.
QuickBooks Online is third-party software for your bank. Hence, any information the system receives is dependent on what your Financial Institution shares with us.
You can perform these troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue:
Open a private/incognito browser window. If you're using Safari or Firefox go to File then select New Private Window. If you're using Chrome go to File then select New Incognito Window.
Log in to QuickBooks and update it again.
If you're getting the same results, your bank is maybe adding security checks and you'll want to log into their website. If you can sign in, review the following:
Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
Look for any display issues as you navigate the website.
Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.
If everything looks good, go back to QuickBooks. Then, click the Update button again to refresh the connection.
If you update anything on your bank’s website, like your account number, username, or password, change that info in QuickBooks as well. Let me show you how:
Go to the Banking.
Choose your bank, select the Edit ✎ icon.
Select the Edit ✎ icon to the right of the bank name and select Edit sign-in info.
Enter your bank website User ID and Password and select Update sign-in info.
QuickBooks Online will connect with your bank to verify the details.
Once you see the message that your credentials have been updated, select I'm done, Let's go!
After that, log out of QuickBooks and sign back in. Then, proceed to the Banking page and update it again.
If it still requires you to verify the information, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Team. They can create a case to investigate the issue.
Stay in touch with me if you need anything else aside from the additional verification on your bank. I'll be right here to help you.
