Question

Why doesn't QB online use https? I always get the warning box that says it is not secure. Especially as most of the things I do involve financial info?

Hi there Dora,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I understand how important it is to seamlessly access QuickBooks. I'm here to provide you with some insights into this matter.

First, could you tell me the name of the website that you use? and What specific error did you encounter? This way, I can check if that website or the URL that is used is an official Intuit URL. Any additional information you can provide me will help me give you an accurate resolution.

I agree with 4 Gal that we are using https in the URL. So, when logging in to your Intuit account you can't see the actual URL which means in this case you can click the URL field to see the complete URL details if it shows the https/http.

See the screenshot below,

If you still have not added Intuit as a trusted site, I highly suggest adding Intuit as a trusted site to prevent your browser from potentially blocking site content. In this way, your data has more security.

Please leave a reply below if you have any follow-up questions about securing your data or additional QuickBooks concerns. I'll be standing by to help you out.
