Why hasn't my Etsy account updated in the last few months

I just checked in on my account and noticed that my Etsy hasn't updated since August!  This has never happened before. I refreshed it and still nothing happened.  How do I fix this?

Besides the account not updating, are you also receiving a specific error message when trying to refresh the connection with Etsy in QBSE? 

 

In the meantime, I have some general troubleshooting steps that can resolve common syncing problems with bank accounts or third-party apps like Etsy.

 

Begin by logging into your QuickBooks Online account using a private or incognito browsing window. This clears out any outdated connection data being cached by your browser from previous sessions. Follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open your browser and click on the three dots in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select "New Incognito Window" or "New Private Window" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Log in to your QBSE account in the new window.

 

An alternative option you can try is clearing your web browser's cache and cookies. This deletes any problematic connection files that may be interrupting the Etsy-QuickBooks Self-Employed integration.

 

Follow the steps outlined in this QuickBooks support article to thoroughly clear out the browser cache and cookies:: Clear Cache and Cookies to Fix Issues When Using QuickBooks Online.

 

Once fully cleared, try reconnecting Etsy and check if transactions are now downloading correctly.

I've tried the steps and my Etsy account still is not updating.  Mine hasn't updated for 10 months!!!  How can I get this to sync?  I want to work on my taxes but if I can't get Quickbooks to work, I may as well cancel my subscription and look for a better appt to keep track of my business.

I want to ensure you are connected to our QuickBooks Self-Employed support to handle this matter. Please contact one of their support, as they can access your account and investigate this further.

 

  1. Go to Help (?) and select Contact Us.
  2. Note: If you’re using the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, tap the + button and select Ask QB Assistant.
  3. Enter “talk to a human”, then select Continue.
  4. Select which way you want to connect with us.
  • Have us call you - Get a call from a support expert.
  • Chat with us - Start a conversation with a support expert.
