Thanks for dropping by the Community space, rnfike2005. I want to make sure this gets sorted out.

To start, can you verify the name of the bank account you are having a problem with? Any additional information will get us closer to the resolution, and check if there's an open investigation about this.

As for your other question, if you'll delete your bank account, all your data (categorized or not) under that bank account will be removed permanently.

To delete, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your QBSE account using a web browser.
  2. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  3. Select Bank accounts.
  4. Look for the account you want to delete and tap the trash icon.
  5. On the pop-up window, type DELETE.
  6. Hit Delete to confirm.

For more detailed information about this process, see this article: Delete bank and transaction data in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

But since you've mentioned that your transactions are showing as a duplicate from your connected bank account, I've got a resource that will guide you on how to handle it. See this link: Handle duplicate transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If you have other questions in managing your bank transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Just reply here and I'll get back to you. Have a great day.
