Why isn't my bank register displaying all my transactions?

We pay AMEX by ACH. I see our December payment in the register, but not April-November. Also, I don't see all of our inter-account transfers. However, the bank balance and QB balance match.

I'll help you fix this, tcohen-cohenland.

 

You'll want to review the Audit log if there might be another user who accidentally deleted the transactions. If there are deleted transactions, you'll have to manually upload them in QBO. You can go to your bank's website and follow the instructions on how to download them. I've listed our supported file formats below:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Quicken (QFX)

You follow these steps in uploading the file:

  1. Select Banking from the sidebar menu, then click the Banking tab.
  2. Hit the Upload transactions button.
  3. Click Browse, then choose the file you downloaded from your bank.
  4. Select the account you want to upload the transactions into from the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down menu, then select Next
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions, then click Next.
  6. When you’re ready, hit Let's go.

 

However, if there's no deleted transactions, you may check the filter of your date range since your bank balance and QuickBooks match.
