Why my recon is not balancing

There could be a number of reasons why your bank register amount in QuickBooks Online differs from your actual bank balance. They would need to be fixed after you identified the reason why they don't match.

Balances may not match for a number of reasons:

• Outstanding transactions
• New transactions for a connected account
• Duplicate transactions
• Edited or deleted transactions
• Credit card (liability) account
