Why was I charged a fee for a deposit when I never have been in the past?

In the past I was never charged a fee for processing a payment. Today I noticed I was charged fees. Why??

I can share some information with your deposit fees, @lakesidepa

 

If you use QuickBooks Payments, you can accept credit card, debit, and ACH bank transfers for invoices you send and sales you make. 

 

You'll be charged for a fee each time you process a transaction. Check the following fees:

  • ACH bank transfer - 1% (Max $10)

  • Credit card - swiped - 2.4% + 25 ¢

  • Credit card - online invoice - 2.9% + 25 ¢

  • Credit card - keyed - 3.4% + 25 ¢
