Glad to have you here in the Community, @wmorvel.

One of the possible reasons you can't add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is that your browser had data issues. Let's get rid of it by performing some troubleshooting steps so you can add your income to QBSE.

Before we start, did you receive an error message when trying to enter your income? Any additional information would help us provide the best resolution based on the error received.

In the meantime, let's access your QBSE account using a private browser to check if it's a browser data issue. Press this shortcut key on your keyboard to open a private browser:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N on your keyboard for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox
  • Press Command + Shift + N for Safari

Once logged in, go back and try to add your income again to double-check. If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. However, if you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.

Just in case you want to learn more about categorizing transactions in QBSE, feel free to read this article for detailed information: Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Please post a reply below if you have other concerns with your transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. I'll be more than happy to assist you again. Have a great day and take care always.
