Welcome to the Community. I see that you want to connect your bank account to QuickBooks Online. I'll share my thoughts that could help you achieve this.

Before anything else, what is the name of your bank institution that you are trying to connect to your QuickBooks Online account?

On the other hand, let e share with you the following scenarios of why you're unable to connect your bank account:

  • The bank may not be a participating bank.
  • Your bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • The bank is having a system maintenance.
  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one or try all possible bank URLs.

You'll want to contact your bank and inquire about any maintenance updates or requests for establishing a connection with QuickBooks. Once you've confirmed there are no issues from the bank's side, double-check if you selected the appropriate bank name when linking the account.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking or Transactions on the left panel.
  2. Select Link account or Add account
  3. In the Connect your bank or credit card to bring in your transactions field, enter the URL listed for your bank.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account.

For detailed information, refer to this article: Connect your bank feed using Open Banking

I'm adding this article you can use in the future: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

If you have more questions about connecting your bank accounts in QuickBooks Online, post them here in the forum. I'll be sure to answer them ASAP! Have a great day!
